Film Night, BBQ & Photography Exhibition - 18th November 2016

An evening to celebrate and enjoy the creative arts of mountain biking with a variety of films including ‘Mountain Biking – The Untold British Story’, a photography exhibition and competition and a unique indoor Scottish BBQ.

The film will be presented by two conference speakers and mountain bike legends, who make an appearance in the ‘Untold’ film, Martyn Ashton & Gary Fisher. They will also conduct a short Q&A session after the film.

The film has been made by international and BAFTA winning filmmakers, Pip Piper and Michael Clifford. A co production between Blue Hippo Media and SINGLETRACK magazine. Alongside the two legends who will be presenting at the conference the film features some of the stars and unsung heroes of mountain biking including Dan ,Gee and Rachel Atherton, Geoff Apps, Tracy Moseley, Steve Peat, Rob Warner, Isla Rowntree and internet sensation Danny Macaskill plus loads of others connected to this amazing story.

There is also amazing archive footage and stories taking us from the mid 50’s through to the present day. A story full of passion and emotion that will take you on the untold story of British mountain biking.

There will also be a selection of short videos showcasing Scottish mountain biking all on the large screen 4k cinema screen with surround sound.

We, Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland and Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland, will then run a photography exhibition and competition where attendees will get to choose their favourite image from the top 10 entrants to the competition.
