PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION LAUNCHED AS PART OF INTERNATIONAL SCOTTISH MOUNTAIN BIKING CONFERENCE 2016
Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland and Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland are pleased to announce the launch of a photography competition with the aim of showcasing the best of what Scotland has to offer as a mountain biking destination. The competition, sponsored by Lemon Digital Design, is on the theme of ‘Mountain Biking in Scotland’ and will run alongside the Scottish Mountain Biking Conference – Innovation Edition, to be held at Macdonald Aviemore Resort from 17th-19th November 2016.
Graeme McLean, conference organiser from Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, says:
“At this conference we are delighted to make the the photography competition to run alongside a Scottish BBQ and film evening. We think this creative arts evening is an excellent addition to this year’s conference, giving delegates from around the world the opportunity to glimpse what Scotland has to offer - through the lens of the Scottish mountain biking community.”
Digital submissions are welcomed until noon Thursday 10th November 2016. A shortlist of the top ten entries will be showcased at the Scottish Mountain Biking Conference and the winner will be decided by the mountain biking community during a BBQ dinner, exhibition, film night & social event at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort on the evening of Friday 18th November. The winning entry will receive vouchers and all shortlisted entries will be displayed in large format within the Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland.
