Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland (DMBinS) are delighted that Annie Last, who competed from Great Britain at the Olympics, will be giving an inspirational presentation on her journey to become an Olympic athlete, her experiences of mountain biking in Scotland and how it compares to the rest of the world.
Scottish premier mountain biking video producer, Stu Thomson of MTB Cut, will be creating a new video for the conference which will feature interviews with several leading mountain bikers and key voices within the industry discussing Scotland's status as a world class mountain biking destination. Stu will also feature on our panel discussion.
Throughout the day there will be the opportunity for delegates to engage in a live voting system which will provide interactive feedback on what is world class and what needs to improve in Scottish mountain biking.
The conference will feature a senior member of the Scottish Government presenting on the vital contribution mountain biking makes to delivering the Governments targets and vision for Scotland to be a world class location.
The University of Highlands and Islands will give a presentation on a review of the key opportunities in Scottish mountain biking which will contain a number of key recommendations.
Opportunity to hear from and question some of the key individuals involved in mountain biking in Scotland in a panel discussion on Scotland’s position as a world leader in mountain biking development.
