We are delighted to announce that in 2017 this award is sponsored by Endura.
Endura established in Scotland in 1993.
Mountain, Road, Commute, Urban, Triathlon & Womens.
Born in Scotland. Ridden Worldwide. Wherever, however and whatever you choose to ride, Endura are there for you. Their philosophy is Renegade Progress: rejecting convention and embracing the radical to create game-changing products.
Flaer only began exporting at the beginning of 2017 so as you can see the progress they have made is quite remarkable. Since launching at Eurobike in August 2016 they have worked hard to develop and expand their distribution network. On the back of their Eurobike Brand / Revo Via launch they received a great deal of interest from potential distributors in a range of territories. Flaer followed all these leads up diligently and looked to find like-minded partners who shared their vision for growing their brand successfully. At this moment they continue to have discussions with new potential partners in new territories and anticipate further expanding their international footprint over the next 12 months.
At Flaér we know what it feels like to push to your absolute limit. When you give it everything we want to make sure all your effort goes to the wheel and isn’t lost through needless inefficiencies. We have helped pro riders and teams all over the world to get the best out from their input. After all, when you put so much in, work so hard to perfect everything about your ride and leave nothing to chance, why should you accept anything less.
With backing from a long-established and highly respected automotive engineering business we put our shared knowledge, experience and expertise into all our products ensuring you can benefit from all your effort, all the time. Our revolutionary Revo Via and Revo Terra chain performance systems are game changers in the field of drivetrain efficiency. Whilst Guard & Revive are the ultimate in high performance bike care products.
Flaér – feel it.

Frame designs have been refined over the years to improve their functionality and simplify production. Sales/production for 2017 expected to be around 200 bikes/frames.
The Rohloff Speedhub and Gates Carbon Belt Drive system has been successful in raising the Shand profile and the company is now recognised as a Rohloff bike specialist within the UK and around the world. Specialising in this high-quality, niche product (along with influences of the Scottish landscape on the product) has provided differentiation inan extremely crowded marketplace.
The winner will be announced on the night of the Scottish Mountain Bike Awards in Glasgow on Thursday 16th November.
Tickets for the event are available here.

They are also listed in the latest survey by Bike Magazine (Germany’s largest MTB magazine) as fastest growing cycle apparel brand since 2014 based on consumer survey.
