EOI's Paused on Cycling Facilities Fund

In October 2020, the Cycling Facilities Fund was launched with £8m of funding being made available by Scottish Government and sportscotland to deliver accessible community and club cycling facilities in partnership with Scottish Cycling and Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland. We are delighted to have received so many expressions of interest (EOIs) to the fund from all over the country. It reflects a real interest in creating more and better opportunities for people to participate in cycling in their local communities.

With more than 100 EOIs received to date, we intend to pause taking in any further EOIs beyond Monday 19 April so that we can prioritise all of the proposals received and progress those that best fit with the aims and objectives of the Cycling Facilities Fund.

We would encourage anyone who is considering submitting an EOI to the Cycling Facilities Fund to do so by Monday 19 April 2020 to ensure that we are able to consider your proposals.

For those who have already submitted an EOI, thank you for your interest and for taking the time to submit your proposals to the Cycling Facilities Fund.
