  • 7stanes - Ae

    A fine blend of family trails and rough & tough for for the more experienced rider. Includes a competition downhill course, featuring the infamous "Coffin Jump"! Café, bike shop & hire.

  • 7stanes - Dalbeattie

    Great rocky granite trails of all grades. Includes The Slab and other notable features. Dalbeattie lies between Dumfries and Castle Douglas at the junction of the A711 and the A710. The trail head is just over a kilometre south of Dalbeattie, at Richorn.

  • 7stanes - Glentress

    Probably the best biking centre in Britain/(The World?). Everything from beginners' trails to extreme downhill. Peebles in the Scottish Borders is around 40km south of the city of Edinburgh. Glentress forest lies on the A72, 3.5km to the east of Peebles. The trail head is beside the turn off into the forest from the A72

  • 7stanes - Glentrool

    The Wild West. A long forest road-based ride, fun routes for families/beginners and a great blue grade trail, all with stunning scenery. Seasonal café, bike hire can be arranged. Glentrool, part of Galloway Forest Park, lies off the A714 between Girvan in Ayrshire and Newton Stewart in Galloway.

  • 7stanes - Innerleithen

    Renowned for its downhill mountain biking routes Innerleithen lies on the A72 between Peebles and Galashiels in the Scottish Borders, around 45km south of Edinburgh. The trail head is roughly 1.5km from Innerleithen village, just off the B709 Traquair Road.

  • 7stanes - Kirroughtree

    Home to some of the best singletrack in the country. Something for everyone with the seasonal café, bike hire and children's play area. Kirroughtree visitor centre is around 5km east of Newton Stewart in Galloway Forest Park. Access to the trails is from the trail head at Kirroughtree visitor centre.

  • 7stanes - Mabie

    Magnificent flowing singletrack for all, and a ride on the dark side of the North Shore timber trail will test the expert rider. Café, bike shop & hire. Mabie forest lies just of the A710 around 6.5km south of Dumfries. The trailhead and bike hire are close by the parking facilities at Mabie House.

  • 7stanes - Newcastleton

    Close to the Scotland/England border and with shorter routes at all levels, this is a good introduction to the 7stanes. Bike hire close by. Newcastleton lies on the B6357 in the Scottish Borders, less than 5km from the border between Scotland and England. The trail head is at Dykecroft visitor centre, just over 2km from Newcastleton.

  • Balblair

    A range of routes - particularly suited to families but also with 4km of red grade trail. Near Kyle of Sutherland. Take the A836 through Ardgay and over the river into Bonar Bridge. Follow the road through Bonar Bridge (heading towards Lairg) for around 1.5km and look for the car park and trail head on the right.

  • Bellsmyre Mountain Bike Skills Trail

    The area offers over half a kilometre of off road mountain biking in a compact area catering for a range of abilities with different trail grades. There are two trails: a mini skills trail for warming up and learning basic skills and a skills trail which is longer and more challenging.

    Fast, fun and purpose built for year round use – the Carron Valley Mountain Bike Trails are guaranteed to entice you back for more! The Carron Valley Mountain Bike Trails are in the Carron Valley Forest, lying at the eastern edge of the Campsie Fells, to the south west of Stirling. Access is from the Carron Valley car park, just off the B818 Denny - Fintry road.

  • Kelburn Trails

    There are two main trails at Kelburn. Both are Red Level Grade and feature a challenging descent. Expect berms, roots, large rocks, boardwalks, medium steps, drop-off’s, jumps and cambers. The trails surface is steep and tough, mostly single track with technical sections including roots and rocks.

  • Laggan Wolftrax

    With nearly 18 km of track ranging from a family green trail to Jump Fun Park to some of the most loved red trails in the world to the extremely difficult Black grade trail containing the "2 Ton Drop" and the "Back, Sack and Crack Attack" features. Laggan can be easily reached by car from all parts of the country. Travelling from the south, take the A9 road and turn off at Dalwhinnie. Laggan is approximately 7 miles along the road to Fort William. Travelling from the north, turn off the A9 at Kingussie and follow the Fort William road for approximately 12 miles. Travelling from the west turn off the A82 at Spean Bridge and travel along the A86 for 27 miles to reach Laggan.

  • Learnie Red Rock Trails

    16km of trails for all skill levels, combined with some of the best views from any mountain bike trails, anywhere! The Learnie Red Rock trails are in Learnie Forest on the Black Isle, to the north west of Inverness. Access to the trailhead is from the Red Rock car park, which lies just off the A832 Fortrose - Cromarty road.

  • Newmilns Bikepark

    Home to Mini Downhill in the Central Area with its super fast all weather DH trails, Newmilns Bikepark is situated only ½ hour south of Glasgow on the A71. Access to the trails is via the Newmilns Dry Ski slope facility where Skiing, Snowboarding, Mountain boarding and rock climbing is also available from trained coaches.

    Lots of imagination, hard work, and sweat have gone in to make the Pitfichie mountain bike trails some of the best in mountain bike trails in Aberdeenshire, especially the red routes. Situated on the B993 between Monymusk and Alford about 20 miles west of Aberdeen.
